Hello friends. I have decided to start a blog about all things cheap in Lisbon Portugal. Many of you will find that Portugal is already cheap anyway, so what's the purpose of this "cheap lisbon" blog? Well, what you are likely to be paying as an unassuming tourist is (although you may find Lisbon cheap) still more expensive than what those of us who live here are paying. Anyway, this is also for my own amusement: I am discovering cheap Lisbon myself and am thus saving a lot of money that I would unnecessarily spend if I had the usual tourist attitude.
So, be on the lookout for great authentic cheap places in Lisbon. Get advice on where to eat, go out, find accommodation in Lisbon, etc. I will try to present some cultural events in Lisbon as well. I hope that while doing this for myself, I will also be of help to you. And of course, come and enjoy cheap Lisbon!
